Scandal or Manipulation?

Hi Kids!

Let me reassure you this article is NOT about the POTUS election itself. At the time of this writing, Oblige is ahead of Israel Stevens almost 2:1. So early congratz go to Oblige. Both are worthy candidates in my opinion.

What I am writing about is considered by some to be "normal" and by others "uncalled for". I would favor the term "unnecessary". My feelings will be revealed as the story progresses, please read on.




A Skunk In The Wood Pile

In my article of a few days ago, I explained that the Pickle Party was PTO'ed by some nobody named Pickled Pete. If you are unfamiliar, it is a short article, and worth a moment of your time to get up to speed. Also there is an explanation of my feelings regarding PTO of a party.

As you can read, I wasn't pleased. But, I didn't see a reason to get all excited. I figured that I would call on a few good friends to help me watch the party president election on March 15th. We would make sure that the party was returned to the original owner (me).

Keep in mind that this IS NOT the old UIP party. Jason Welsh was the last UIP PP. He retired the party, I was already gone. The Pickle Party was brand new, bought with my 40 gold. This was done to keep any indiscretion from my MU guys. The party was created to give aspiring members a place to learn and practice politics before I threw 'em to the wolves.




Enter Henry Arundel

As Gomer Pyle would say, "Surprise, surprise, surprise!" The day before the CP election, guess who is the new party president of the now renamed "Unity" party? Yep, none other than the pfeiffer himself, Henry Arundel.

So I shoot off a PM to old Henry. "What's up, why did you take Pickled Pete's place as PP?", I ask. (You know how I love polite language when someone pisses me off, right?) Henry kindly responds that he certainly doesn't want me to get the wrong idea. He is just "liberating" the party so that it can endorse Israel Stevens for POTUS. I reply, "But dear Henry, I was planning to endorse our good friend Israel this month. Kindly return control of the party to me and lets forget this foolishness.".



The conversation went sour at this point and he said something about the UIP being dead. I mentioned to him that the Pickle Party never had anything to do with the old UIP, that I had belonged to since I started playing eRep many moons ago. He continued down a dark path, informing me that he gives no "trucks" (???) about which parties he snags. He just looked at last months endorsements and picked the ones that endorsed Oblige. (hmmm...)

He then told me that it was not my party and if I want it I will have to take it back. To which I replied, "Okies then... Have a nice day!"

So I's contacted Mr. Israel Stevens to see what his story is. I had bumped heads with Mr. Stevens before when he was PP of Amp and I was the Congress Whip. But iz all good az we parted friendly like.

He promised me he had no knowledge of the PTO attack by Peiffer and was upset that Kira Erikson's party was zoinked also. He made a point to mention that AMP would be happy to ATO the parties involved.



Me then thinks it prudent to speak to the other guy that is involved, Oblige. To make the story short, he does not seem to be too worked up about the whole deal.




Enter The Conspiracy Theroy

My pal and yours, Gnilraps the magnificent (NOT being sarcastic, he's amazing. If you ain't sub'ed his paper, why the hell not?!) released this gem explaining the whole little scam by Mr. Pfeiffer. The Pickle Party's PTO (among other parties) is explained in detail. But I have one reservation in this journalistic endeavor, I don't think Stevens is in on the gag. As a matter of fact, I think he's been duped, along with the rest of us. Please take a moment to peruse the comment section, not so much for content as 'attitude'. We are squaring off against one another just like the JCS debacle.


Stop and think, who is NOT jumping up and down, screaming to high heaven about how "stupid" Gnilraps is for even proposing such an idea? Who plopped his fat ass in the middle of my party, the day before elections, when he knew I'd tear off on a rant and start PM'ing people? Hmmm?

Now consider who, besides PTH/Ajay/Lee is always trying to weasel his way into power? Who manipulates the forums, dominates IRC and tries to control comments to articles that don't suit him? Again, Hmmm?




Tie It Off / A Private Message For Henry

So I propose that this affair is not some conspiracy, but rather a carefully planned manipulation of events, executed to divide us into factions and strengthen Henry's position of power and gain him new allies. If you're in bed with him you will love it. I don't sleep with whores.

Now all you mild mannered people may wish to advert you eyes for a moment.

Henry, you stupid f head! What the hell did you think would happen when you decided to ass around with me!? Do you think I am some feeble nobody that you can push around? You're as dumb as a box of hammers if you think I'm harmless just because I don't play the f'ing politics game anymore.
